Safety On Public Roadways
Governance is complicated, good government difficult. In Ohio, New York good governance may be both difficult and consequently rare.
This illustrated difference between skill in chairing a board meeting, and supervising good governance at town level.
Anyone able & willing to add to this list is urged to do so. Supervisor Bussey has shared his initial executive insight, introduced below. Perhaps he will provide the good People of the town of Ohio an update.
We may not have all the answers yet.
We do know, by Supervisor Bussey’s account the intersection @ North end of Kelly has been deficient for a decade, Ohio, NY officials notified at that time (about a decade ago according to Supervisor Bussey), and has been deficient ever since.
Bystander criticism is all ways easier than successful governance. In general we owe a debt of gratitude to our neighbors that fill these government roles in our community. BUT !
That gratitude is not without rational limit.
Not merely a deficiency of enthusiasm for public benefit, but what appears to be indistinguishable from depraved indifference to human life.
That may seem a harsh assessment, perhaps seemingly gratuitously so. Context substantiates it.
It is not my intent to pointlessly shame here. Our public servants are challenged, and may need our help, just as they help us. Supervisor Bussey wants a Confidential Office Assistant.

They need our support, and we owe it to ourselves and our neighbors
By what dint of Promethean reasoning would we consider this a success?
It’s been a decade!
How many more years will they / we need to put up a sign?n Ohio, New York
